The Alumni Association of the Department of Transportation and Logistics Management, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (hereinafter referred to as the Transportation Alumni Association) serves as an important platform for fostering connections among graduates from transportation-related programs. The association was established with the aim of strengthening communication among alumni, promoting professional development and industry–academia collaboration, and providing opportunities for current students to benefit from alumni experience sharing and career guidance. Beyond maintaining academic and professional ties, the association is also committed to building a supportive and long-term community for its members.

The predecessor of the Transportation Alumni Association was the Transportation Alumni Fellowship, which shared a similar mission of maintaining close connections among graduates. The organizational structure and spirit of activities of the Alumni Fellowship laid the foundation for the establishment of the Transportation Alumni Association. The current association inherits this spirit and further emphasizes cooperation and mutual support among alumni from different graduating classes. Whether in terms of professional expertise, industry trends, or career planning, the alumni support network continues to grow stronger. In addition, the Transportation Alumni Association actively organizes various activities, including annual gatherings, special lectures, and alumni forums, to promote both personal connections and professional development among alumni.

The Transportation Alumni Association is not merely a platform for alumni networking, but also a bridge connecting the past, present, and future. The historical legacy of the Alumni Fellowship has been preserved and continued within the association, while new vitality has been introduced. As a result, the association has become a strong foundation for academic, professional, and interpersonal exchange.
